Ahh…The ultimate question. How can I develop further as a leader? What does Leadership Development even mean? Simply defined Leadership Development means “A program or activity that makes people become better leaders.”
At Simcordia we have broken down the core of Leadership to its basic essentials. We work with our clients through those Leadership essentials and decide which ones need improvement. After deciding which Leadership Essentials need work we will set a goal of improvement for those essentials and comprehensively work on each one individually. We will garner the input of people around the leader if necessary.
Leadership Development is not a skill that you learn, turn a key, and it magically works. It is a foundation of who you are and how you act every day. It is a journey of growing towards being the Best Leader and therefore the Best Person you can be. Once we improve your foundation through the Leadership Core Essentials you WILL naturally become a better leader, almost by itself.
We like to keep things Simple – but productive. Companies will send their leaders to a leadership summit, an intense leadership program, or a 3 day leaders workshop, but if there is no consistency or follow up change seldom occurs. We have found that the biggest and most sustainable improvement comes from simple consistency. We base our leadership programs on simple consistency for the most noticeable and lasting improvement.
